About Alian Ollivierre

Alian Ollivierre-Skeete is a Coach, Speaker and Trainer, who specialises in helping women to excel at life and business through strategy and mindset, and has spent 15+ years working in legal, corporate, international policy, non-profit, and portfolio-relationship management.

She helps socially conscious women in leadership to strategically advance their growth, by developing the leadership capacity of themselves and their teams, to drive success in life and business, to move from inner awareness to outer authority, through a framework she calls The LeadHer Shift. She also designs curricula and spaces for girls to start their leadership journey at an earlier stage.

Over the years, Alian has had the honour of learning from global leaders like Sir Richard Branson and President Barack Obama, through the inaugural Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative, in addition to being recognized by the Late Queen Elizabeth as the 121st Point of Light Awardee for her work in the girls’ development space.

Alian previously served as the Caribbean (SIDS) Focal Point for the United Nations Major Group of Children and Youth, and has worked with numerous executive clients across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, forging opportunities for women, through entities like Youth Business International, Caribbean Development Bank, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the United States Embassy.

Alian holds a certification with Maxwell Leadership, one of the world’s top Leadership Development Institutes, following an LL.B. Law (Hons) from the University of Kent (UK), and MSc. International Relations from Kingston University London (UK), and additional training in Non-Profit Management, D.I.S.C. Behavioural Analysis, and Business Development.

With a passion for philanthropy and her experience working with the United Nations, she used her core professional abilities to create I Am A Girl and the Caribbean Girls Collective of non-profit organizations, where she has raised more than $3.5 million USD towards social impact.

In all endeavours, this published author, wife, mother, and global citizen dedicates her life to ensuring that she helps equip all people from youth to executive leaders to succeed and ‘get way ahead’.

Some of how Alian sees the world can be summed up in this one quote by Maya Angelou:

“You may write me down in history with your bitter, twisted lies, You may trod me in the very dirt But still, like dust, I’ll rise.”
