Lead Like Heaven Is Watching

Dear LeadHers,

As the calendar is about to turn and we prepare to step into a new year, I want to leave you with this truth:

Your impact is not measured by the volume of your voice, but the alignment of your life.

In 2025, we spoke about identity, self-leadership, and the quiet courage it takes to shift from inner awareness to outer authority.

We questioned the lack of acknowledgements.

We challenged the status quo of our world.

And we gave ourselves permission to redefine success.

In this season in particular, I found myself reflecting through the quiet moments and sacred stillness that comes with Christmas.

Which brings me to a week ago today, when we were preparing to celebrate the life of our saviour, whose birth taught us a few things.

In a world that often glorifies visibility, achievement, and titles, the story of Christ’s birth reminds us that true leadership doesn’t always enter with a crown or a stage, but with humble and holy beginnings like Jesus in a manger.

This year, many of us have been wrestling with what it means to lead, without applause or recognition, but the story of Christmas calls us back to what is eternal: presence over performance, faith over fear, and purpose over popularity.

So, as we enter 2026, may we also choose to lead with eternity in mind.

Let this be the year we lead like heaven is watching.

Not in fear.

But in faith.

Not for applause.

But for alignment.

Not to build platforms.

But to build people.

Jesus led with compassion, conviction, and clarity, even when misunderstood... and so can we.

Jesus was adamant that love is the cornerstone of all commandments… so let’s ensure we spread it.

Jesus set boundaries with self and others, while also showcasing that obedience is key… let’s stick with it.

Let us not forget that the greatest act of leadership was modelled in vulnerability. That God Himself stepped into humanity not to dominate, but to dwell among us.

As you set your intentions, revisit your vision boards, and speak life into your goals ahead, remember: your highest calling is not to be impressive, but to be impactful… to be salt and light, in boardrooms and backyards alike.

I’m praying you enter this new year with a heart fully surrendered and a spirit fully ignited.

You are more than worthy.

You have an abundance of value to share.

You are already deeply known, wholly loved, and chosen to lead right where you are.

Happy New Year to all the courageous and purpose-driven women in leadership.

I look forward to the many shifts we will create and curate together in 2026.

Blessings,
